Although it is not present in the latest season format, at least the continuation of the current sequel from Code Geass has begun to be done in the latest film form. Titled Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re; surrection(Code Geass Fukkatsu No Lelouch), this film has finally been officially aired in Japanese theater starting 9 February 2019 and invited a lot of fans' attention. As a form of welcome, the studio finally released a new trailer that might make fans excited and increasingly impatient waiting for the film.
The duration of the trailer is only 15 seconds long, but there are some cool scenes full of action from mecha battles, emotional character interactions, and clear visions of the legendary main character Lelouch vi Britannia. A touching surprise and reunion for the fans, of course, given that Lelouch has technically died at the end of his second season and may return to life because of the power of Geass. As additional information, Funimation recently announced that Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection (Code Geass Fukkatsu No Lelouch) is planned to be aired in the western region from May 5 2019. For this reason, if you are a loyal fan of Code Geass, this one must not be missed.
Synopsis Code Geass
2017, 7 years after the war, Area 11. In 2010, Japan was dominated by Britannia. Britannia invaded almost the entire world using technology called Knightmare Frame. Finally, the Japanese lost their rights, dignity, freedom, even their names. All Japanese citizens may not use Japanese names. By Britannia, Japanese were called Eleven, and Japan was called Area 11. Lelouch Lamperouge appeared to be an ordinary young man, but he was actually Prince Britannia who was banished by his father after the death of his mother, Marianne vi Britannia. Lelouch finally lived together with his sister, Nunally who became blind and paralyzed after witnessing the death of the mother. Filled with the intention of taking revenge on his father, Lelouch swore in front of his friend Suzaku Kururugi that he would destroy the Britannia with his own hands. Lelouch finally meets a mysterious girl named C.C (Tsi-tsu) who gives a mysterious power named "Geass Power of the King".
